Bringing Our STEM Camp to Metro Vancouver: Our Partnership with Renaissance Academy
2026 was the year Medics Camp expanded beyond the Greater Toronto Area, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of Renaissance Academy of Learning in Richmond, BC, who provided us with a place to call home for two weeks this summer.
Renaissance Academy already offers its own summer programs, including, coding, engineering and robotics, along with math, French, Mandarin, chess and cooking. So why welcome Medics Camp?
Because they saw an opportunity rather than a conflict.
They understood that Medics Camp offers something different. Our STEM.org-accredited programs have a medical science focus, and that isn't necessarily every child's kind of science. Some children are drawn to sports, dance, cooking or adventure camps.
Renaissance Academy also understood something every busy parent knows: summer camp logistics can be complicated when children have different interests. Multiple drop-offs and pickups at different locations can quickly turn a great summer into a transportation nightmare.
Medics Camp moves from venue to venue, typically spending just 1–3 weeks in one location. When a school or camp operator opens its doors to us, families get something pretty special: one convenient location with multiple camp options to choose from. That’s exactly what Renaissance Academy helped make possible for families in Metro Vancouver this summer.
A huge thank you to Renaissance Academy of Learning for welcoming Medics Camp to your community and giving us the opportunity to bring our medical themed STEM accredited programs to Metro Vancouver! We’re grateful for the partnership and for seeing the possibilities in bringing something new to the families you serve. ❤️
